The specifications
are diameter/flow dependant. We will be offering 5, 10. 15 and 20 foot diameter systems. Below is general performance
specifications and a linear kwh output prediction based on a standard tidal speed of 6 mph with four tidal movements
per day (two high tides and two low tides). The areas of the locked blades are listed, with torque and potential kwh output.
In general, the 5 footers can power more than two typical houses at about 482 kwh a day, and the 20 footers can
power up to 150 houses! A farm of 20 footers could easily power a city.
The illustration below shows the four "Kits" which we will offer. Each
kit will be fully self contained with the Tidal Cube, gear increaser, primary pump, valves, hoses and shore pump with attached
shore based sized generator.
